The Stone Crab restaurant is located in a unique spot in the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi Bay, Gozo. It is situated at the water`s edge and sheltered by high rising adjacent cliffs. The restaurant opened its doors for business in the June of 1990. The premises date back to the late 90`s, as a garage where the boats of the family of Mr Bernard Cutajar were kept. The premises eventually were bought by one of Mr Cutajar`s grand daughter, who now manages and runs the restaurant. Over these two decades, the restaurant has gained popularity and has become a favourite among locals and regular visitors to Gozo.
The Stone Crab specializes in local and Mediterranean cuisine. It also serves a variety of delicious fresh fish dishes, including the crab as one of its main popular and recommanded dish. Besides of fish dishes, the restaurant serves also fta, meat and pizzas.
